Ghee butter is one of my favorite sources of fat. This super food is made from a natural butter source but because of the way it’s prepared it has minimal lactose or milk contents, making it great for people with dairy sensitivities. Ghee butter decreases inflammation, improves the digestive system, treats burns and swelling of the skin when applied, is very tasty and makes a great topping for popcorn, veggies, or bread. Ghee is rich in fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E, and K. Because of its high natural content of conjugated linoleic acid (CLA), it has been linked to improving insulin resistance (when cells fail to respond to the normal actions of the hormone insulin), and can potentially fight cancer.
